The General Conference building is open to the general public for tours free of charge. The 45minâ"1hour tour encompass history and current activities of the church headquarters and several of its organizations. Tours include the Visitor Center, artifacts and exhibits in other parts of the building and the Ellen White Estate, a much-visited area featuring original historic documents and memorabilia from one of the church founders. The tour program for the World Headquarters building began when the building opened in 1989, and currently draws about 7,000 guests annually.
Those interested in visiting the world headquarters of the Seventh-day Adventist Church are welcome to join the regularly scheduled tour Monday through Friday at 9:00 a.m. Guests at other times during the day are free to see the Visitor Center and the Ellen White Estate. There are no weekend tours.
For groups of 10 or more a reservation is required two weeks in advance of the date of the tour. Those wishing to eat in the cafeteria in a group of 10 or more will also need to make reservations and financial arrangements in advance with Food Service Management at the same time the tour is booked.

How to find the Seventh-day Adventist World Headquarters:
We are less than half an hour from Washington D.C. on the corner of Route 29 and Randolph Road in Silver Spring, Maryland. From Interstate 95, take exit #33 (Route 198) and head west toward Burtonsville. Turn left on Route 29. When you get to the corner of Route 29 and Randolph Road, you'll see us on the right. Turn right on Randolph and then left on Columbia Pike. The entrance to our parking lot is on the left.
